Import ethylene-based PVC offers on LC at sight, CIF/CFR Main Port basis
As stated to SSESSMENTS.COM, a Japanese PVC producer has announced June shipment offers to China, India, and Southeast Asia market. Current offers have drawn a largely positive reaction from customers even though most Asian countries are still fighting their respective battles against the pandemic with contrasting levels of intensity. So far, the producer found no major difficulties in selling June shipment allocation.
As compared to May shipment, the producer initiated a price increase of $30/ton to the China market, and by $40/ton higher to the Southeast Asia market. As for the India market, the latest offers from the producer are available at $760/ton on LC at sight, CIF India Main Port basis, with no comparison as the producer did not release May shipment offers to India market last month.
