Import ethylene-based PVC offers on LC at sight, CIF China Main Port basis
A global trading house shared with SSESSMENTS.COM the price adjustment on import Japanese PVC cargoes to the China market. According to the source, August shipment offers from one of the Japanese PVC producers have moved higher between $20-40/ton, while another Japanese PVC producer offers August shipment cargoes with at $10-30/ton higher, all compared to July shipment offers. The date, both Japanese producers have managed to sell some volume with deals closed at $820-830/ton on LC at sight, CIF China main port basis, or $10/ton lower than the initial level on the low-end of the price range.
