- A Malaysian trader reported to SSESSMENTS.COM that fresh offers from a Malaysian polyolefin producer for July delivery have been announced with significant adjustments. Compared to June, offers for HDPE Film and LDPE Film from the producer surfaced with steep increases of MYR380/ton ($89/ton) and MYR280/ton ($65/ton), respectively.
- From the import market, a converter in Indonesia informed SSESSMENTS.COM that offers for HDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 from Kuwait for July shipment have been released. The converter concluded deals for the former at the initial offer level as the supplier was not willing to negotiate while for the latter, the converter managed to conclude deals at $10/ton lower than the initial offers. Compared to deals concluded in June, deals for HDPE Film were $110/ton higher whereas deals for LLDPE Film C4 were $90/ton higher.
